Detailed program of the SPIG 2020 can be found here
IMPORTANT NOTE: All sessions (lectures and Q&A) will be recorded for the SPIG Digital Legacy. Speakers that wish their presentation not to be recorded, please contact the Organizers.Thank you!Scientific Programme of the Conference will consist of Plenary Invited Lectures (45 min), Topical Invited Lectures (30 min), Progress Reports (20 min) and Contributed Papers (poster presentations) .
The Book of Contributed Papers and Abstracts of Invited Lectures and Progress reports will be published and will be available at the Conference. Contributed Papers will be refereed by the Scientific Committee. The Conference Proceedings will be published after the meeting. The official language is English.
During SPIG2020 we will have a Special session "Atomic Collisions in Plasmas"
organized in honor of the life and work of Ratko Janev (In Memoriam).
This session will consist of a series of lectures presented by scientists who
have been doing research either directly with Ratko Janev or pursuing his
scientific legacy. The topics to be covered range from fundamental theoretical
developments of the theory of atomic collisions, interactions of atomic
particles with surfaces to production and evaluation of atomic and molecular
data bases for collision processes in plasmas.
Virtual SPIG 2020
The SPIG 2020 will be held using the online Webex Event platform. The registered participants will receive details how to join by e-mail. Please contact Organizers should you not have received this link or in case you have problems connecting.
Each day we will have a separate Webex Event (with the second Event for a parallel session). Each session will consists of presentations with the Q&A. The option to record your presentation and send it in advance (slides, audio, video) is strongly recommended. In that case the speaker should be available for Q&A. Please send the materials well in advance, and the latest August 17, 2020.
On August 18-20, 12:00-14:00 CET and August 24, 10:00-12:00 CET, there will be three test-sessions for the participants to check their audio/video setup, as well as to get familiar with the Webex Event platform.
A special test-session will be dedicated to Session Chairs on August 19-20, 14:00-15:00 CET.
All invitations will be communicated to registered participants by e-mail.
